LESLIE K. BRILL

Paintings in Acrylic & Oil

Leslie K. Brill is recognized for her energized yet subtle use of color, nature, and nudes. With her BFA from Cornell University, and her MFA from Ohio State University, she has successfully arrived on the collectible artist scene. Her paintings are in many private collections, galleries, and here- at gallerydbs.

RACHAEL DRENNON

Painting

A new artist in our roster, this visionary has produced some of our favorite contemporary pieces. Given her education at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia, we feel Rachael is an artist to watch closely.  Her way of managing the canvas, and her focus on the female intrigue drags you into her unusual seeing world.

AIDA BIRRITTERI

Water Color & Ink

Aida Birritteri is an artist with mystic soul.  Her work in watercolor and ink harkens back to Turner, Anne-Marie Pepin, Marissa Recker & Natalia James by integrating Japanese modernism with plein air naturalism. Not to be missed, and in many private collections.

TERRI JORDAN

Acrylic

Terri Jordan began her studies in New York City at the Fashion Institute.  Her work focuses mainly on paintings of exotic women. Her landscapes are rural reveries of Tennessee, her home, where she is the curator of the Customs House Museum outside Nashville.

ABIGAIL DUDLEY

Oil & Watercolor

Abigail Dudley is a recent graduate of Pennsylvania Fine Arts Academy in Philadelphia. Her work is abstract and figurative simultaneously, and her use of light is extraordinary, whether it be in a landscape or on a figure. Abagail is presently in a fellowship in PA, and certain to attract a great deal of attention in the very near future. Abigail's use of color and block formation is absolutely her own style harkening to Richard Dibenkorn or Helen Frankenthaler, where the subject is both an abstraction and a recollection.

DB SMITH

Oil, Acrylic, Ink & Graphite

DB Smith began engaging in fine art at the age of 7.  After attending many renowned art schools (Cleveland Art Institute, The Art Institute of Chicago, and The Museum at Michigan) she settled in Philadelphia with her own gallery: gallery dbs.  Working with a wide array of media, and constantly pushing boundaries. Smith's work is known for its impressionistic modern color palate, and richness in style.  You can see a solo exhibit of her work at the top of this home page. Her work is in small museum collections, and many private collections in the USA, and the UK.
